Colours was originally created by the "Creator" Buck Rogers whilst playing Freelancer in the dim and distant pass of time. Colours was a clan - created to conquer different Freelancer servers, which was accomplished rather sucessfully.
Back in 2005, Buck decided to create his own native Freelancer server, and in January 2005 Colours EliteUK was born.
Mod after Mod was released and Clan after Clan joined the Server. Eagles, SF, Vipers and CPF to name but a few.
In April, Oracle and Figment added Team Speak to the Server, and suddenly, we were a community, bought together through a common interest but able to allow better interaction. Friendships were formed, a BBQ announced and suddenly, in July 2005, we were meeting up for the first time. Oracle and Figment travelled over from Canada to enjoy the event and decided that England was the place to be (they still have time to relocate though)
Over the course of time, the community has grown and evolved and here we are in 2008 with 3 BBQ's under our belt.
ColoursEliteUK has moved on from being a freelancer server to becoming a fully fledged community with members in over 10 countries around the world (including the US, Canada, Romania, Netherlands, Germany and France.)
